Visiting the site
This site sets no cookies of its own. Its fonts and pictures come from this site itself, not from other companies.
Every visit reaches the site through the shop's own server at Amazon Web Services (AWS), which passes the encrypted connection through without opening it: it sees your internet address, not the pages you read.
Like any website, the site's server records each visit in its logs: your internet address, the page, the time and what your browser says it is. The logs are used to keep the site running; they are overwritten as they fill up, and older backup copies are replaced as they age out.
Photos of our pieces and paperwork
We photograph the pieces we sell in ofsale, the shop's own system. Before a photo leaves it, ofsale looks for faces in it and blurs each one it finds, and removes the details the camera stored with it, such as where it was taken. A photo it can't check for faces isn't sent.
To identify a piece, a photo of it or a few frames of a short video go to OpenAI. OpenAI doesn't train on them and keeps them up to 30 days to check for abuse.
Paperwork we photograph or upload, such as invoices and packing slips, goes to Google Gemini to be read. Google may keep it to improve its products, and people there may look at it. A PDF of paperwork goes as it is, once ofsale has looked for faces in every picture inside it; a PDF with a face in it, or a picture it can't check, isn't sent. Photos or a short video of the pieces that came with paperwork are read there too, against its lines, on the same terms.
